IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
May 1, 2023: Summer Watering Restrictions begin May 1, 2023 as part of the Water Restrictions & Alert Management Plan (WRAMP). This will be implemented yearly from May 1 through August 31, coinciding with the Water Conservation Surcharge. The Summer Watering Restrictions will help to ensure that wells can sustain the water supply required to meet customer demand, and water levels in the tanks can be maintained to the necessary levels. However, the General Manager or Board may initiate a Stage Alert at any time due to other factors. The April issue of Water Notes explains in more detail as does the website if you scroll to view 'District Updates.' Thank you.

To report a leak, main break, or other problem concerning District wells, tanks, or transmission lines:

During regular office hours (Mon. - Fri. from 8 AM to 5 PM), call (505) 466-1085.

Customer Service and Billing Inquiries
The EAWSD Customer Service and Billing Office (managed by JACOBS/OMI under contract to EAWSD) is responsible for telephone and walk-in customer contact, payment processing/cashiering, credit/collections, meter reading, billing, new water service fee collection and start/stop services and account transfers. The office is located at 2 North Chamisa Drive, Suite B, Santa Fe, NM 87508.
You can pay your bill:

In person. Visit the EAWSD Customer Service and Billing Office during regular office hours (Mon. - Fri. from 8 AM to 5 PM).

Drop box. There are two after-hours drop boxes: the District Office or the Agora Shopping Center. The Agora Center drop box is located next to the EAWSD outdoor bulletin board between Quik Send and the Agora Market. Please note: drop boxes are checked once a day, including weekends. The District does not assume responsibility for late or lost payments left in after-hours drop boxes. Effective immediately - NO CASH DEPOSITS should be left in drop boxes. Cash payments will only be accepted in person at the Customer Service and Billing Office. A receipt will be provided at the time of transaction. In-person visits are by appointment only.

By phone: Payments can be made by calling 1-844-678-4544. Please be advised, the bill payment provider will charge a separate transaction fee of approximately $3.70 for their services, and you must be prepared to provide them with your 8-digit account number.

Your bank's online bill paying service. EAWSD is part of the Fiserv network where you can search for El Dorado, and your payment will be received electronically.

Meter Reading
Meter reading and billing services are provided to EAWSD under contract with JACOBS/OMI. Meter reading occurs on a monthly basis; estimated readings may apply in cases of inclement weather.
