​​The District's September 2022 Water Utility Master Plan update, prepared by our consulting engineer, Molzen Corbin, identified the ZONE 1 to ZONE 2_Phase II of the Monte Alto Road et al project as a high-priority project as part of the Monte Alto Road Pipeline Replacement. Within the last 5-10 years, this area has experienced a significant and ongoing number of service lateral and water main breaks, many of which have surpassed the end of their expected useful service life and require replacement. While Phase I of this project is nearing substantial completion, Phase II will primarily focus on installing a secondary transmission line that will deliver water to two zones, which currently  has only one transmission line.
